Position Title: Facility Engineer & Maintenance Manager

Job Description and Duties
​
Engage in work & activities to repair and maintain all facilities. Perf. preventative mainten. work using & oper. complex & highly technical equip. & techniques ensuring minimal downtime & maximum equip. lifespan. Devel. & impl. comprehensive mainten. schedule for co.'s equip. & systems. Asst. in develop. & manage. of maintenance depart. budget. Create & present KPI reports to Plant Manager, tracking maintenance perform. & efficiency. Serve as point of contact for external contractors & vendors, ensuring qual. service & timely mater. for maintenance & repair projects. Maintain organized & accurate inventory records for maintenance equip. & supplies. Oversee maintenance closet, ensuring stocked, organized & well-maintained for ease of access. Conduct regular inspections of build. sys., equip. & facilities incl. HVAC, air syst., plumbing, electrical, mechanical, landscaping & general bldg. repairs. Identify & addr. potential equip. & facility failures proactively. Lead & participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing 3d-pty maintenance costs & increase in-house capabilities. Analyze data from maintenance logs to improve efficiency & reduce costs for facility in Boston and PA. Provide guidance & perform repairs on specialized equip. incl. compressors, indust. HVAC systems, hydraulic machines, elect. mach. & PLC syst. Ensure all repairs & services comply with industry standards & safety regs. Coordinate daily tasks for maintenance team ensuring smooth operations across warehouse & exterior. Oversee cleanliness & organization of maintenance tools & materials to minimize downtime & maintain efficiency. Maintain detailed & organized documentation for all maintenance activities ensuring compliance with co. policies & clear communication w/mgmt. Conduct routine safety audits & ensure adherence to safety and reg. stds. Train personnel on the operation & maintenance of machines, equip. & safety protocols. Act as a liaison with depts. to ensure facility support for co. events including setup & post event restoration. Serve as weekend on-call personnel and be designated as essential staff during extreme weather & emergencies incl. snow removal & storm damage response. Operate company vehicles as nec. Provide expertise in machinery & facilities support for cross-functional projects focused on continuous improvement & oper. efficiency. Oversee tracking & mgmt. of leftover inventory incl. boxes & flower material ensuring proper storage & utilization. Coord. & track designated days for receiving materials to ensure all items are received timely. Define & Setup clear & efficient staging area for materials, optimizing space & flow. Manage marking & org. of racks ensuring all materials are stored correctly. Monitor & control waste of materials implementing practices to minimize unnecessary waste & improve resource utilization. Oversee the efficient operations of receiving & inventory control processes. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, ensuring inventory accuracy & coordinating receiving activities for mult. product categories. Develop & implement a cleaning schedule for team to ensure that all areas remain tidy and compliant with safety stds. Create & manage SOPS for receiving team members, ensuring consistency in receiving practices. Design &manage a material input & output sheet for inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking of materials received & processed. Complete weekly inventory checks for Amazon leftovers. Conduct weekly inventory checks for TJ &d Shaws leftovers to debug the cooler & calculate losses. Perform inventory checks of DC fleet leftovers to calculate losses & manage stock levels. Categorize & organize pallets by supp. to streamline receiving process. Setup & Maintain a staging area for Hargood prod. Differ between FTD and incoming material. Coord. weekly deliveries to ensure all material received is timely. Ensure proper handling & storage of goods to avoid damage. Viable candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or its equiv. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, have a MA Drivers license and DOT Certification. Full-time position.
