Position Title: Industrial Engineer

Job Description and Duties

​

Industrial Engineer- Create and support optimization models and baselines for manufacturing capacity, inventory and outbound transportation. Participate in the design and implementation of outbound carrier and plant inventory dashboards and scorecards. Utilize mathematical, statistical and financial methods to develop end to end supply chain solutions to improve service and decrease cost. Serve as a liaison with sales department to keep them updated to any changes in delivery, as well as partnering in the rollout of new products. Oversee outgoing shipping activities to ensure the accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments. Participate in defining parameters, objectives, goals for the department and its respective metrics. Standardize processes and seek constant improvement in core processes. Participate in planning, securing and implementing overall shipping strategy. Support, develop and seek constant improvements within the department and its teammates. Process shipments documentation (BOLs, Invoices, Handbills and PODS.) Maintain company's truck fleet in optimal conditions. Collaborate with production, procurement and sales to optimize processes. Ensure work area space is utilized effectively and kept clean and orderly. Actively participate in the company's Lean journey, provide guidance and support to its department in the concepts of 5S, VSM, lean foundations and continuous improvement. Occasional travel is necessary to other business locations in Miami. Viable candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or its equivalent.

Designers Choice LLC seeks a full-time Logistician to support supply chain project execution and
optimization.

Job Description and Duties

Define the scope, framework, and lifecycle of supply chain projects
and assist in executing key initiatives. Support the core team, ensuring equitable distribution of
responsibilities and overseeing performance. Establish and implement a metrics system with
data-driven indicators to uphold supply chain excellence. Develop dashboards for continual
sharing of project status reports. Facilitate prioritization and adjustment of the project pipeline
based on evolving business and workforce needs. Contribute to the introduction of new
technologies and innovative practices to enhance supply chain operations. Assist in developing
and implementing procedures to optimize supply chain performance. Implement cost reduction
strategies, visibility enhancements, buying power leverage, and inventory control. Conduct postproject audits to identify positive and negative aspects and provide feedback for continuous
improvement. Engage with upper management, production staff, suppliers, and vendors to
understand their perspectives and needs. Monitor flower and raw materials inventory,
identifying purchasing, logistics, or usage issues and proposing alternatives. Participate in the
development of succession planning strategies. Occasional travel is required to customer
locations and business sites in Miami and the West Coast.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. Experience: 3
months (90 days) in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
